He studied in Barcelona, ??Wuppertal, Paris, Modena and Bologna. In his catalog stand out the chamber operas; “La festa” commissioned by the OBC; "Pepa Vargas in memorian" (2004); a Stabat Mater (2004) and soundtracks for film and television. He has also stood out as a popularizer of current music and young performers, through the radio program Tutto Demestres (2000-08) and his own record label, D + 3.
On November 15, 2009, he released the opera “Il sequestro” in Modena (Italy), with a script written in collaboration with Cristina Pavarotti, daughter of tenor Luciano Pavarotti. The same year he composed the soundtrack for the Spanish television series "23F: The King's Hardest Day", for which he has received numerous awards. He has been a guest composer at the “The Seasons” Festival in Yakima, Washington (2011) and a guest composer at the Yaddo artists' residence in Saratoga Springs, New York (2012).
