This coming Saturday, January 16 at 12:00 in the Aula Magna of the Sant Cugat Conservatory, the violinist Kalina Macuta and the pianist Daniel Blanch will inaugurate the Joan Manén Year with a recital in tribute to the great violinist and composer borned in Barcelona, of which this year the 50th anniversary of his death is commemorated. This concert is organized by the “Associació Música Simfónica i de Cambra” of Sant Cugat in collaboration with the Joan Manén Association. The entrance to the concert has a price of 9 euros. Kalina Macuta and Daniel Blanch will play works by Johan Sebastian Bach, Giuseppe Tartini, Joan Manén and the premiere of "Tres Romances" by Marc Migó, a work that has been dedicated to the interpreters, in commemoration of the composer's anniversary.

This concert is also scheduled to take place at the Palau de la Música de Barcelona, ??El Vendrell, Llinars del Vallès or Calaf among other towns.
